In order to maintain healthy, shiny hair, it must be adequately nourished with minerals like zinc, copper and iron. Your scalp should also be given due attention and should be pampered with vitamins and minerals. Therefore, a healthy diet is essentially required.

Drink at least 8 glasses of water on a regular basis so that your scalp remains hydrated. Integrate foods in your daily diet that are rich in proteins. These include lean meat, cereals and fish.

As far as washing your hair is concerned, you must do so every alternate day.

Thoroughly rinse your hair with cold water before using shampoo. This allows to get rid of loose dust and dirt. Before applying the shampoo onto the hair, first apply it onto your hands and work in it into a lather. If you apply it onto your hair directly, it may damage the roots and prevent it from shining.

Then massage the shampoo into your roots gently and wash it off with a creamy conditioner. Conditioning should be focused on the ends of the hair.

Lastly, while drying your hair, do not get the hair dryer too close to your hair and always use a paddle or round brush.

A French pedicure for your feet is just the pick up you need when you are not in the mood for something too busy, but still want to groom your toes. Let your peepers gleam with this procedure that you can follow at home to give your self a cute yet sophisticated French pedicure.

Remove any old nail polish from your toenails before you start.

Now, go ahead and soak your feet in warm soapy water for at least fifteen minutes. Use a pumice stone to remove any hard dead skin layers and use almond oil to soften your cuticles.

Use orange wood stick to push back the cuticles and trim them evenly.

Trim your toenails. Use a horizontal guideline and cut neatly across. This promotes hygiene.

With the help of an emery board remove any extra nail tissue.

Now its time to place a toe foam separator between your toes.

Apply a coat of transparent nail polish. Use white stark nail paint on the nail tips. Apply more than one coat when the first one has dried.

Apply translucent pink or clear nail paint over the entire nail in two coats and finish with a topcoat.

This is the latest trend on fingernails today. French manicures are neat, look sophisticated and are appropriate for daily and office wear. Now you don’t have to shell out too many bucks to treat yourself. Here is how to go about obtaining those perfect nails the French way.

First remove any old nail polish.
Exfoliate your hands with any scrub in order to remove any dead skin cells. Exfoliation also helps soften your skin.
Apply cuticle cream or oil on your cuticles and then after a few minutes even your cuticles out with an orange wood stick.
With some warm water, wash and rinse your nails.
Trim your nails with a nail trimmer, and use a file to give a nice, oval shape to your nails. You should use an emery board. French manicured nails are filed and shaped in such a way that the ends are straight across while the edges are rounded slightly.
Apply a base coat to your nails and wait for it to dry.
Now, use an off white canal paint or a stark nail polish to cover the nail tips and wait for the first layer to dry before applying the next one.
Apply translucent nail polish over the entire nail.
With that, your French manicure is complete.

Every woman wants her hair to be luscious, thick and beautiful hair but the pollution, the direct heat of the sun, the dusty winds and the chemicals from the shampoo make it more and more difficult day by day to protect the luster of one’s hair. But there are many simple natural melodies to cure this problem.

One the most effective remedy would be using Apple Cider Vinegar. You could mix one quart of water with half a cup of apple cider vinegar and apply as hair rinse after your regular shampoo.

Beat two to three eggs, depending on the length of your hair and add three tablespoons of olive oil. Apply the mixture from root to tip and leave it on for thirty minutes and then shampoo and rinse.

Eggs are rich in eleven essential nutrients and are loaded with protein. Combined with olive oil for conditioning and nourishment, it works like magic. The most common and easy way would by applying of coconut oil to your hair from root to tip and wrap it in a hot towel and let it stay for the stay thirty minutes.

Shampoo and Rinse. Coconut oil is packed with anti-oxidants and works to smooth dry and damaged hair.

Having beautiful, strong and shiny hair is any woman’s desire. A woman’s hair is her most attractive feature, second only perhaps to beautiful eyes. Long and lustrous locks require a lot of hard work and effort and constant attention. If you are naturally blessed with healthy hair then it is imperative you take good care of it and if you are looking to grow beautiful hair, we discuss three excellent tips in this article.

Even if you have shiny hair you must not neglect oiling your hair. It is a must to oil hair at least once a week. Most people advise using heated coconut oil as it seeps into the scalp and also nourishes every strand. Keeping hair oiled overnight and washing the next day is a great way to nourish the hair.

If you are travelling it is advisable to wear a hat or cover your head with cloth because harsh sunlight, dust and dirt can severely affect the quality of your hair. Some brands also manufacture hair sunscreens that are ideal for travelling in the sun.

One must drink water regularly throughout the day to prevent the hair from drying out as this leads to breakage.

Women often regard long, lustrous hair as their most prized possession, and rightly so. Beautifully kept long hair is the truest mark of a woman, and while short hair looks sharp and smart and can make for great style statements, long hair is classic, eternal and elegant.

Growing long hair is on every woman’s wish list, and in this article, we share with you some great tips on how to do the same.

The first step to growing beautiful, healthy long hair would be to get rid of any damaged or unhealthy hair. This means going for a trim or a proper hair cut to a salon and getting rid of all your damaged locks. It might seem harsh but it is important if you are to have healthy hair.

Deep conditioning the hair at least once twice every month is imperative. Massaging hair with hot oil stimulates the scalp and nourishes it and promotes further growth. It also prevents the scalp from getting dry or flaking.

While washing work the shampoo slowly through the length of the hair instead of assembling it all at the top. This will prevent your hair from getting tangled and breaking.
